I am planning to self petition EB1EA application. I am a Biotechnology researcher (phD) moved into IT and currently a software engineer. I have an Eb2 I40/485 with pd of 2006. As the things are not moving,I am thinking of filing for EB1EA. I have considerable experience and I have internatinal awards/publications etc. I have also now got about 6 latest recommendation letters from US professors (in addition to more than 10 recommendation letters from overseas) and ready to file.
Here is the issue. If they approve the EB1 EA and issue GC, will they revoke GC, If I am still working in the area of software development. Will i be better of staying with EB2 or try my luck with EB1EA.
