Based on my previous h1b details given below , how many think I am eligible for the remainder option
H1b valid from Oct 2005- Apr 2008
Stay in the US - Oct 2006 - July 2007
I have seen three school of thoughts on this
1. I am not eligible since it is more than 6 yrs of my petition start date
2. I am eligible since it is dependent on if I was in h1b status with the last 6 yrs (which i was July 2007 + 6= July 2013 so I have some time)
3. There is no limitation at all, the remainder option in the aytes memo does not mention any limitation.
What is the opinion of the experienced members in this forum? Which one do they agree with or do they another opinion itself?
