Against all odds - Successful F1 Visa

my sister got student visas despite of a US Sponsor (myself - elder sister on H1B converted from F1), parents and brother being Green card holders. She is going to do MS in Pharmacology at LIU.
She went for interview on Monday at Mumbai consulate... and the last name is Patel.
She was asked all the questions about sponsors and W2's of the sponsor. Everything was laid out truthfully infront of the US consular. that made the difference - I think.

That is an achievement!!! I am going for my f1 visa interview in December. I came to U.S. on j2 visa, going home and coming back with F1. 60% of funding would be my personal savings while in U.S. and 40% my father ( who is not a U.S. citizen) You think that would be a problem. What kind of questions can I expect for the interview ( FYI I have alredy taken credit hours on my J2 visa). Thanks in advance.
