Here are my questions:
1. My wife's employer applied for her gc and we got the gc approved beginning this year.We are planning to go back for good to India some time in 2008.I wanted to get the citizenship done before going back,but not sure whether to go for it or not.We can apply for citizenship in 2009 october.
If i can comeback leaving my wife and family in India,and stay in US for 6 months period during the years 2008 and 2009,will i be able to apply for citizenship on behalf of us,though the GC was essentially approved for my wife and i got it due to her.
2. Once after applying for the citizenship,is it possible for me to stay half of the year in US and half in India,till we get the citizenship.
