Hi,
I have an advisory opinion and no objection waiver pending. Today, the advisory opinion went from "pending" to "not required to adjudicate" and my no objection waiver is still pending. I called the DOS 5 times today. Here are the replies I got
1. Both are still pending (2 times)
2. Favorable recommendation has been given 2 days back
3. You are not subject to 212(e) which was figured out from the waiver request so they dismissed the advisory opinion request.
My prospective employer withdrew the appointment order for the job saying J1 visa waiver is too complicate and said they will consider once I have something in hand. Either advisory opinion, fav. recommendation or the USCIS receipt. If my Fav. recom or advisory opinion was sent out on 20th (according to website), how long will it take to reach my address?
Is advisory opinion faster that fav. rec document or it does not matter.
I am desperate as I do not want to lose the job opportunity.
Another problem is, my lease is up on the 31st of this month. So what should I do to receive the mail, I will be moving out.
