I have an educational background in Business Administration with 15 years of IT experience. I have been in US since 2002 on various titles like "Programmer Analyst", "Systems Engineer" and "Systems Analyst" with more or like the same job duties under different employers. I file for concurrent I-140/485 in 2007 thru my current employer and my I-140 on EB3, that was filed as "Systems analyst", is yet to be taken up for review by USCIS. My 7th year on H1 is ending in a couple of months.
Now, due to current economic situation and other reasons, my employer is thinking of assigning me a management role with business related job duties given my educational background.
Here are my questions:
- Will my current I-140 be affected due to this change.
- Will it affect my 485.
- Will my H1 be approved with new title and duties.
P.S: I have EAD valid until Aug 2010 and still maintain H1 status.
