7th Year Outside the US: How does it affect GC

My H1 six year limit is ending. If I choose to stay in India for the next one year and then come back to join my current employer.
What will happen to my GC process, i am still at the state labor clearance level.

Can an employer tell BCIS that I have been on deputation.
I plan to support the current employer's tasks, from outside the USA.

Please answer.

As far I know it will not effect your labor.

Once approved better wait until you come back (after 1 year out side the country) to file your I140 and I485.

If you filed your labor more than a year ago you can get 7th year H1b extension.
