My six years of stay on an H1 will be over in Aug 2011. I never initiated my GC process. I am planning to go out of the country for a year and return. My question is how soon can I come back?
Assuming that I go out in Aug 2011, do I need to wait until Aug 2012 before applying for a new H1/L1 or can I apply earlier and plan to travel in Aug 2012?
