Still, I am puzzled. You said that "For those of you who have the LUD changed recently, I can say u r all very close to be being approved. My LUD was 5/5 and the cases were approved on 5/15.

But my NIW I-140 RD 01/02/2004, I-485 RD 01/25/04, I-140 PD 01/26/04, I-140 approval ND 04/23/04. But my I-485 shows that it was last updated 03/27/04. I haven't done my FP yet and I think there is no way they will approve my I-485 in the near future because I just filed everything this year! What do you guys think?-----I am totally not trying to discourage you all, I am just trying to figure out what exactly the "last update" thing means with you guys so that we don't mislead people.

My last update was on 5/7/2004.
I did not hear any thing from the service center so far.
I applied for AP which got approved on 5/5/2004...
So my question to you is " Would the update be just a reflection of the fact that my second AP was approved ??? ..............or they are really working on the I-485 ????" please give your thoughts when you have time.
And my fingerprints were done in Dec 2002. No further progress..... nor any request for second FP... though.

I wish the case can be true for all -
But to be fair for all with earlier RD of 485 than those who have filed this year, one should take that also, into consideration if they can expect the AD to be near.
But, as always, there are few exceptions, that depends on Luck.

after more than 2 years , finally some one touched my case atlease i can say they have my file. for my 485 Last updated date use to be 06/25/02. now it changed to 06/07/04.
can everybody around may 02 check there profile and update this tracker. keep my fringers crossed.

LUD 04/02/04 but not getting excited about it...
Here are my details:
I-485 EB3 RIR
RD: 01/08/2003
ND: 01/09/2003
FP only for wife who is in derivative status: 12/01/2003
No FP for myself.
LUD: 04/02/2004
The reason for update was because me and my wife called the 800# to notify of address change. The weird thing is that my wife's SRC number is after mine but her finger printing has been done already and even though I'm the primary I still have not received FP. I just applied for the 2nd EAD RD 04/30/2004, waiting for approval.
Any thoughts?

Last Update Day question
My 485 last update date was changed from 6/20/2003 to 5/5/2004. However, the message didn't get changed and I don't receive any email and/or notice from TSC. I am still waiting for FP. I thought it might be an FP notice. For those who got Last Update Day changed, would you please share what happened to your I485 after LUD changed? Thanks a lot.

I really wish LUD change could mean something. We(spouse and I) have our 485 ND as 4/12/02, we applied our 3rd AP on 2/17/04, set an inquiry for the long delayed AP on 6/8/04, and one of our 485 LUD date changed to 6/14/04, the other one kept untouched. I strongly believe that our AP inquiry triggered the LUD, but really don't understand why only one 485 got touched by the officer, especially that one is the derivative applicant's 485 and not the primary applicant's.
