I am happy to let all of you know that my 485 has been approved today. I checked my mail and found the Card Production Ordered message.
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On September 20, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please
allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something
from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card,
call customer service.
I was on H1 for 6 years, then received EAD. Currently on my 3rd EAD. It has been a long and stressful wait. Finally received the magic mail. Good luck to all who are waiting!
Here is my timeline:
I-485 RD : April 2005
Spouse (Primary) 485 AD : May 2005
Mine pending name check for 2 1/2 years
Name check cleared: Aug 2007
Card Ordered: Sep 20 2007
