My brother went for stamping at Chennai in Nov 07. He went through many questions and he answered all the questions and feeling very satisfied. But the officer told him that he cannot grant a visa and told him that it would be returned to US. I am in US and checked with the employer who processed. But the employer says they have brought many candidates. I contacted the lawyer and the lawyer is asking 5000 USD to find the freedom of information act. I already spent for the H1 visa and ended with no clue on the processing. I do not like to spend any more unless I know any other ways of following with USCIS or so. Any one has such experience and gotten the H1 re-approved and stamped back in chennai ?
