2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

140 approved 06/16/04, ND 07/10/03 EB2 RIR

Details in signature. Tracker updated.

I was fearing an education RFE, based on postings observed here lately (US Masters, but not in computers/MIS)

Paralegal confirmed that the EAC# I saw approved couple days ago was mine (we are not allowed to have the 140 receipts), but I guess she was in a good mood today :D

They haven't received the approval notice yet, but hopefully that should come through in the next couple days.

Also, received the EAD card for 2nd EAD approved on 06/10. I actually got two email notices - on 06/14, saying "On June 10, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card...", followed by another on 06/16 saying "This case has been approved. On June 15, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice..."

Finally, 2nd AP was approved 06/14 and the attorneys have received the AP documents.

I'm assuming the 2nd EAD triggered the 140 approval. 342 days.

At least I'm now out of the Ohata memo scenario, but on the other hand, I'm now fully portable under AC21. So have mixed feelings

Everyone have a good weekend.

Cheers.

All a quick question.

Is there anybody here with one of their W2's having the total wages less than the states prevailing wages and their I 140 having been approved? Found from the 2004 forum, that one of such case was rejected and I am on a similar boat. I am not sure if I should be expecting a similar rejection of my I 140? All seniors any help would be appreciated.

thanks

LC_Virginia,

I think Jan 20th is the 73rd working day of INS fiscal year 04 (0ctober 1 --- September)

E-mail notifications

Guys, This is what one immigration newsletter said about the e-mail status that comes from USCIS. Thought I'd pass it on to all of you since it's interesting.

Editor's Note: In our May 2004 newsletter, we reviewed the USCIS's new
Case Status Online Portfolio System with its E-Mail Notification
Feature. One of our subscribers has informed us that the while this feature will issue an e-mail notification when an application is received or when an RFE or an approval is issued, the system does not notify an applicant or
petitioner when there is a denial. Worse yet, the system has a nasty habit of issuing "false positives". If you receive a message that your application for an immigration benefit has been approved, you may want to wait to open that bottle of champagne until after you receive your approval by snail mail.

another 485 approval

Another friend of mine recently got 485 approved and stamped recently. His RD is 03/2002 and the when he applied for 3rd EAD, that triggered his 485 approval.
VSC is definitely now approval 485's where they don't see any benefit to approve 3rd EAD and approve 485 right away.

congrats redgang
can you tell what your last updated date on 140 is in the case status system.

One Nov 19 I140 approved

EAC0403451XXX was approved on June 18th. I don't know if it is mine since my company did not let me know the case number. But this is one of the cases with a number ahead of my I485.

ND: 11/19/03

Cases are moving!

Few Nov. cases were also approved.

some hopes

NoGCYet.. congrats. Your approval gives some hope for me. RFE response is with USCIS...company profits minimal, but the future GC aspect is of worry. Were you on the company's payroll?
