140 Regular and 485

I got CERTIFIED from BEC in late June and am waiting for the hard copy of the labor papers.

With the currnet Unavailability of visa dates, I would NOT be able to file 485.

140
Also, as 140 Premium Processing has stopped, I was wondering if I can file for 140 Regular processing and when the dates become current (My Priority Date is June 2003), can i still file for 485 (Even though my 140 may be in process) or should i gamble and wait for Premium Processing of 140 to start again in August and get an approval?

Suggestions? Ideas?

Yes if the priority date for I 485 is current then u can file for I 485 even though ur I 140 is pending. You just have to submit ur I 140 receipt

For those whose I-140 is pending, I-485 can also be filed prior to the approval of I-140. Receipt notice I-797 for I-140 must be submitted along with I-485 application to establish the eligibility
