    Re: Re-entry Permit If a LPR is not truthful about time spent abroad, how on earth does the officer at the POE know how long he was absent? I believe U.S. officials don't stamp your PP or swipe the GC. Right? What do they look for?

    Why do you suppose the U.S. doesn't provide for GC holders to sponsor parents etc...? Other countries, such as Canada, allow PR to sponsor family. Well, am I correct? GC holders can't sponsor parents -- right? Is there any legislation in the works to change this? Any helpful insights...
