I had received a job termination letter last year. I got reinstated later(just verbal) without signing any new contract. Does the terms and conditions in the old contract still hold good as per the CA state law?. I have resigned and the employer is threatening me with the old contract.

Reply to rsrgc I requested the increase thru e-mail and got a reply saying that the company will try to get a rate increase from the client. But when i checked with the client, they told me that nobody ever called them regd. this. Bottomline is i did not get a hike.
