You shouldnt need experience letters if you submit a copy of the supporting documents you used to file with your laber cert, (educational documents) as well as all W-2s for current company and your recent paychecks.
*edit sorry I just realized this post is very old. :o
Hi,
I work in a law office. You would need copies of all passports (stamps) that show your time outside of the U.S. Bording passes/airline tickets and a table of some sort from the attornys office specifying all time outside the U.S. It has worked for us in the past with no problems. Good...
I'm not trying to advertise anything.. I just think its not fair to the employee to not be able to call up the lawyer to get information on their own case if they wanted to. I guess not all lawyers interact with the employees/clients. I didnt realize that.
I will take my knowledge elsewhere...
This amazes me.. dont you all get to talk to the lawyers that handle your applications? At our law office we are interacting constantly with the clients. They are more than welcome to call anytime to get their status. I just have been reading some of these threads and most of the questions...
I work for an immigration lawyer. In the past, we gave the employers the top portion of the approval notice, and the employee keeps the bottom portion. As of recently we have just started giving the entire notice to the employee, and give the employer a copy. I think either way is fine...
The lawyer should submit a copy of the acknowledgement letter from Department of Labor/Employment Development Department and indicate that your LC is pending.
I know that Premium Processing takes 10 - 15 calendar days to be approved.
I am not sure of the answer to your second question. Normally you should apply for the visa in the city that was used on your I-129 application.
Whichever visa is approved first, if you take that job, you should notify the other company immediately so they can withdraw the other application.
Whichever job you take, then that is the H-1 that will be active.
What does your H-4 approval notice say? Form I-797.
April 2003? In that case you could go to the local office with your documents and apply for a new I-94.
