Hi Guys, I just noticed on the USCIS website that the processing times for I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a brother or sister is 5 Months for Texas and Vermont Service centers. Does this mean that if i file I-130 for my sister, she will get her GC in 5 months...

If the passport doesn't expire while you are in mexico you are fine. You don't need a visa to mexico if you are a permanent resident.

Done with Oath today. Got my Naturalization Certificate and am officially an American Citizen. I did apply for the passport today. The oath ceremony was fantastic. The IO who conducted the ceremony was hilarious and cracked us up. Thanks one and all and good luck with your journey.

Everyone seemed pretty friendly....it will be quick and easy...just prepare well for the civics test and dress professionally. You might be getting the oath letter the same day and might even be with me on the 20th for oath. Good luck again...Keep us posted
