I-130 & I-129F Approved at the same time

Hi. Same thing happend to me. My spouse's K3 and I-130 got approved around the same time and the notice stated that my spouse was in the U.S. when in fact he was in India. I guess they are doing the same for everyone just expecting that we will file for the adjustment once our spouse gets to the...

I-130 Approved Quickly but Need to file I-824?

Hi everyone. The good news is that my I-130 has been approved 2 weeks ago much quicker than expected. (We filed it in early September!) It was approved concurrently with my K-3 petition The bad news is that on the approval notice for the I-130, it stays that if we wish for consular...

Questions on Process after 129F is approved...

Thank you for your response. Is it taking a long time to process the I-824? I'm thinking of just having his come here on the K-3 if the the process for the I-130 is going to take too long. Is this the USCIS's error? It's unbelievable that even after the I-130 petition got approved, we have to...

Questions on Process after 129F is approved...

So what did you end up doing. My case is the same. The I-130 approval notice seems to think my husband will be applying for a visa here when I clearly indicated on my petition that he would be applying abroad. Should I send the I-824. So confused!!!!

H1b Requesting additional evidence or information

My case was approved one week after USCIS received the additional documents from me which they requested in their RFE. If it has been over one month since you sent your additional documents, I would suggest you tell your attorney to write a letter to the USCIS.

Is DCF by USC still possible at New Delhi

I think it is only possible for US citizens that are Indian residents. You have to meet the residency requirements and stay in India for a while.

Is DCF by USC still possible at New Delhi

You are right in some ways but I disagree in other ways. After staying three months, I don't think its guaranteed that they will process your file. They may say, hey, you aren't an India resident, you just stayed to file the petition. Then what? Time and money wasted. Not to mention that you...
