10-14 days after interview, we got I-181 (welcome notice) from VSC. # are EAC-***.
So local office cent back to VSC and sent I-181 then next they make card.
When I check internet for I-181 it said, After approving.... Then change to this case has been approved, ... Like EAD.
It took 3-4...
I will go abroad for business trip soon.
If I lose green card during my trip what should I do?
I think first year, people have pasport stamp so no problem for reentry.
Usually, [lost green card]=[lost pass port]=[stolen]
This case there are no evidence. Passport can reissue soon but green...

But you had better bring "All Approval Notice".
Offecer did not ask any notice. But some people asked "I-140 approval notice" because it was missing. (INS lost it!)
My case was transferred to Hartford on Dec. 2004. (VSC->Hartford->MSC->Hartford)
And my wife and daughter's cases were transferred from VSC to MSC.
On June all of us took interview at Hartford, CT.

I had J-1 and also IAP-66. My IAP-66 was so important to proof not subject for 212E. But never asked IAP-66. (Hartford, CT)

If you take lawyer, lawyer will chat with officer about general things and officer will forget.......Good luck.
