Should be 10 years. I do have a question though. When we went through medical they noticed a scar on x-ray from pneumonia I had when I was a kid. By law the doctor said he was required to make a note of this in the medical form, because the scars like that can't be destinguished from the ones...

The validity of visa DEPENDS on medical, this is absolutely correct. Normally, medicals are good for one year. But if the doctor states that x-ray may indicate an inactive TB (for instance), then you still will be eligible for immigration, but medicals will be valid for 6 months instead of one...

Same story here. It has been a month, but still no SSNs, no welcome notices and no green cards. I called SSN office yesterday and they told me that they did not receive anything from CIS and they do not have any record of me. I will be calling CIS shortly, it is so frustrating.

We were told by airport personnel to go to visitors line. You don't need to fill out I-94 with immigrant visa, it is actually stated on the card itself.

It took us 2 hrs to go through the process. POE Houston. One hour standing in visistor's line and one hour waiting in secondary inspection to get our documents processed and fingerprints taken.

I received my interview letter for March today. I would assume it depends on Consulate at this stage, but if you do not get an update this week I would give a call to KCC just in case. Oh, my case number is 25***

Looks like my interview will be in march as well! When do we need to expect to see the interview letter on the website? I just checked it and I still see the win confirmation, but no interview letter. I thought people here get it right after DV bulletin release?

As far as I know they ban countries who sends more than 50 K immigrants within last 5 years and Bangladesh is one of them, and they ban them for 5 following years.
