I replied on the forum already. You have nothing to do except waiting for their call. The duration is completely depends on the information of the applicant. It's not like, my case took seven weeks so yours would take same time. I would suggest not to call or send e-mail to get the status. Once they will receive the result they will contact you. Contacting embassy or Dept. of States is rather disturbing them so better to avoid.The AP process can take one week to eight weeks but normally not more than eight weeks. So don't worry.

i had my visa interview at US Embassy Dhaka in january 25th. they kept my passport and since then , no response from them. how much time generally it takes to get the result from them?
