I was stamped at Arlington,VA office today (same day stamping). All it took was five minutes. went home and came back after 3-4 hours for my number to be called. I went too late in morning at around 11 to get the queue ticket

do not ignore the fact I have friends applied for 485 when they become current in 99 and retrogressed still waiting while other friends who are under EB-2 and applied in feb,2001 approved.

have been told by my lawyer if you filed 485 after they become current for everyone,you end of spending 2 years in adjustment status. INS does not even look at cases until they process 97,98 EB3 PD cases first and then proceeds. This will impact severely for people whose PD falls in 1999...

if you do not get RFE at 485 stage and approved but by that time you are not working with the sponsoring company. can you go ahead and get stamped in passport? what are all options?

It applies only to India & China The reason is INS does not want to process the cases where the numbers are not guaranteed to available.

is this normal. when I call VSC number and enter my 485 eac number it still says my 485 received,it takes so many days bla bla but no word on FP issued. I actually done my FP also
