Hi, How many months before EAD expiry is it advisable to file for EAD renewal? Is it the same for AP too? Thanks for your replies.

I-485 LUD on 1/3/2008 and 1/4/2008. no update on I-140

hi, My lawyer mentioned that even if your I-140 , I-485 get rejected... you can still use your EAD card for employment till its expiry date. In the meanwhile before the EAD expiry date you need to either file for H1 or EB1. Please comment. Does anybody else know about this.

hello friends I had seen couple of people in the forum receiving NIW I140 RFE in the last couple of months(PD probably between Oct 2006-Jan 2007). I had received my Rfe on 23Aug2007. Rfe replied on 5Nov2007 I140 - LUD - 8Nov, 9Nov, 10 Nov, 12 Nov No updates after that....:confused...

If you use F1 to enter then you lose I-485 as F1 is single intent.

I received exactly the same Rfe from same officer(#389) with exactly the same contents. I had also not submitted my citations due to the low number (only 9) I had also received the rfe after opening a service request for my Nov 2006 NIW petition Details of my post are as follows...

Thanks a lot for all the replies. I shall definitely try to get a letter or two saying papers recently published and should get good citations over time. Does anybody know of any statistics as to how many average citations usually papers get??? Average publications by a phd student...

Congratulations ash-eb1 on your approval. ash-eb1.. can you please let us know if you had to defend your low citation number in the Rfe rebuttal letter and If yes can you post the excerpt as to how you did it. I have just outside 8 citations as my publications are all also recent 2005...

PP does not exist for NIW. Only used to exist for EB1-EA. Not sure whether it started back again.

Isnt PP temporarily suspended???
