I am a very recent USC. My wife and I married outside US and have had to stay away from each other due to the naturalization process and long wait of F2A. (It is ironic that now priority date of F2A has advanced)
Anyway, I applied I-130 application for her and that was approved...
It seems like some applications are proceeding pretty fast.

I don't suggest your wife leave the country unless it is a matter of life/death. I married overseas and my wife was denied a student visa for "immigrant intend".. And now we are suffering. I recommend you wait for your citizenship. You ahve at least youe wife with you.
