I heard that you can get Medi-Cal only if you're at least 65 years older. What do you mean it kicks in after 5 years?
They can not get Medicare unless they're citizen.
Usually, the border officer will check whether the alian left US after the I-131 was approved. If the alian left US before I-131 was approved, the I-485 application was considered abandoned. I would suggest contact an immigration attorey immediately for a legal advice.
If you follow the thread about "3 months in Dallas" in this forum, you would know quite a few people there stuck in the name check as well, they could not get the GC in 3 months unless the name check could be cleared within that time frame.
Have read lots of posts about GC can't approved due to pending FBI name check. Just wonder, any good news here? Anybody got the name check cleared after waiting. What is the waiting time? Thanks!
Check the following post. They responde inquiry on Nov already. Seems if the check is completed, they respond sooner.

Is the date "10/13 to 10/15" just the date that they respond our inquiry email? There is no way for us to figure out how soon the name check can be completed. If the response is still "pending", this is a hopeless waiting.
For those of you on the thread, whose name check has been pending for 1.5 years, any movement on your case? Any good news here? I read too many posts about FBI can't expedite the process. Feel hopeless. Is it true that the worst case is 2 years waiting?
