Did you recently apply for an EAD renwal. That could have triggered and FP or simply when you made the congressman enquiry they found out that your FP's had expred so they just want your FP on record.

My GC has not been approved but i have had 5 EAD. Each time they would card ordered message first and 3-4 days later approval notice . awhich never came:) Dont worry your GC is done .enjoy chill out have some beer and forget about the messages.

Funny you mention that because on my last infopass the IO at the window told me it is good that your FP are current ( MY PD was current too and he was replying in that context) and it looks like " they " do not need any more documents otherwise they will have to do a background check...
