I am in the 8th year on h1b extension working for company A ( based on LC filed in Nov 2003). A new offer from Company B - is filing for a H1B transfer. They want me to start working for company B as soon as USCIS issues a receipt of the application.
Q1. Can I start working for company B without resigning from company A after USCIS issues a recipt notice? Is this perfectly legal or illegal? Am I
violating any immigration laws?
Q2 .Can I work for both companies simultaneously after the H1B transfer is
completed - if there are no timing conflicts ?
I intend to resign from company A as soon as USCIS issues H1B approval
notice. I am thinking on these lines as I want to protect myself in worst
case scenario of rejection
