With EAD status - sponsor visitors

hi,
Is it possible to give papers to invite a person on visitor visa for 4-6 months, when the sponsorer is with pending 485 status and working here with EAD?

will there be any issues, if the papers are given and the person goes to the consulate in India??

yes ..not a a problem you can very well sponser any visitor while on 485 and EAD.

Do you know if anyone has done that? In theory, there shouldn't be any problem. I just want to know the experiences, if anyone have done this earlier.

yeh my cousin's parents came last yr and his brother's got the visa this yr while his AOS is pending.

I sponsered last week

Atri123, I sponsered for my mother-in-law (with EAD and I-485 recipt), she got visa with out any cross questions last week.

me too...

I gave all my paper works, passports,i485 receipts,EAD's and
i-94's.....but the thing is they did not even look at the documents
and just took DS-156 application for NIV and approved..
