I received GC a month back in EB2 India, but for my wife it is still in initial stage (acceptance). Since the EB2 India, dates are retrogressed, there is remote possibility that she would get it in the near future.
(My wife filed as my dependent.)
I have following questions.
1. Under such situation can I change my present job?
2. If yes, then
a. is there a benchmark period for termination(such that better to leave after certain months)?
b. can my present employer impact on my wifes' GC (e.g. hold back, deny etc.)?
I appreciate your help.

If you have any similar first hand experience, please share for benefit of all.

Thanks in advance.

Generally speaking it is a good idea for someone approved for a green card to work for the sponsor for at least a year unless he is laid off or the company goes out of business or there is solid evidence that the applicant wanted to work but the company could not afford him. This becomes an issue at the time of naturalization and can jeopardize even the green card since the USCIS may suspect fraud. So for your own sake itself, you may not want to switch jobs for a few years.
