why is my AOS Interview set at NYC Garden City?

family based I-485 case. having interview later this month.
I don't understand why my interview appointment is scheduled to be in Garden City, while all people I know took their interview at 26 Federal Plaza in Downtown Manhattan...?
Does anybody know the reason please? Thank you!

did u check that it was really CIS, in garden city? Do CIS really have office there? Check it out.. I was checking the CIS website, I don't even see ASC listed in garden city.

they do conduct interviews in garden city. So just relax and thank god you got a date for interview.
