which period is a safe slot to change employment?

Currently I am employed by Company A (8th year of H1B) which filed my GC application under EB3 with PD of June,2003 and still stuck in PBEC mess. Company B (Future Employer) filed my PERM in April 2006 which is approved (Personally do not have a proof. Lawyer called me and told me about the approval.). I -140 was also filed and approved very recently(August 2006).

Now my questions are as under.

1) Out of following stages which stage can be said VERY SAFE for joining Company B (Future Employer) on its payroll and WHY?

- Now , Just after I 140 approval from Company B's application (EB2,PD: April 2006)
- Just after Company A's labor approval(EB3, PD: June 2003)
- Just after I-140 approval from Company A's application (EB3, PD:June 2003)
- At the time of filing 485 and EAD - Company B (When EB2 PD becomes current)

2) What other safeguards will I have to be aware of ?
