when to file I824

I neede to file I824 for follow to join case for my wife.

my I485 is pending right now.

so should I file I824 now or I should file once my I485 approved

I included my marriage certificate and wife's particulars to my I485 application. Once my GC is approved, my attorney said he will file the I-824 along with copies of my GC approval notice

I believe you can file the FTJ petition even before GC is approved, but the INS will act on it only after GC is approved
