When I can apply after I broke continuous residence?

Hi,

I have a green card since 2014 (through my wife), I applied for n-400 in Feb 2018, but I got denied because I have a trip more than 6 months in 2016, since Nov-19-2016 I never left the country.
My question can I apply in Aug-19-2019 (I read I can apply 3 months earlier) or I have to wait exactly 3 year which is in Nov-19-2019?

You can apply 3 months before 3 years from when you established residence. August 19, but I'd give it a couple of weeks to account for any math errors.

Do a google search for "uscis early filing calculator" and fill in your dates. Tried to put in direct link but won't let me.
