What is pass processing?

I got response for SR. Same old bull - pending extended review. However this time there was an extra line: "A supervisor will review for pass processing". What does this mean?

It is definitely a new word(tactic) by USCIS. But it could be that your case has been assigned to an IO. They might created a new process where they might have allocated few officers to work on the old cases.....

But it might be total bull shit like this one.... My GC is approved on 05/06/2008 and I got a SR Response that that was printed on 05/02/2008 that my case is under normal processing time. And they advised me to follow the processing times on their web-stie....

What a crappy department in this so-callled developed world.
