What does "Additional Review" means and how long does it take to clear file.
What are my next steps to expedite process.
Here is story:
Became current w.e.f May 1st, 2011. Opened SR on 04-May, 2011.
Filed for my wife AP in March and no update yet, thats the reason I opened SR.
After 10 days i get email in response to my SR as below.
Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below.
What are my next step(s) to expedite process of my file.
