What are documents required when changing employer while pending 485?

Can't the new attorney request for the receipt from the old attorney? Can't sns_luck ask the attorney himself whether he can file G-28 with the avialable info??

This is hostile change over, which is why may not get any documentation from his present company.

My point is instead of discussing the possibilities here, sns_luck
should ask his new attorney, whether he can file G-28 with the info he has, and update us here.

sns_luck

Make sure of the following before changing the employer:

1. Your I-140 is approved
2. Your I-485 is pending with USCIS for more than 180 days
3. Your new job description is same as your LC. (Because you are saying you do not have any copies with you, I assume that you don't know how your company filed for your LC. Do not assume that companies always put applicant's actual skill set when they apply for LC. In my case I have been working as a DBA for last six years but my company filed my LC for a Software Engineer)

WIN
