Welcome letter

I heard from lots of people that we should receive a welcome letter after approval. I already got my physical green card. When am I supposed to receive this letter? I haven't got it so far.

It is not important. Your gc is important. We usa welcome you if you feel better.

My spouse and I didn't get a welcome letter so didn't my friends. so it is not important. It is a general letter welcoming you. I have seen the welcome letter that has only one sentence. It doesn't mean anything.
