My problem is that the USCIS is now asking for the W2 from the previous year of work. I do have the W2, and it matches with the prevailing wage, but the name of the employer on the W2 is different than the name of the sponsoring employer. The name on the W2 is the actual jobsite where I work, but the main headquarter site of my sponsoring employer goes under a different name.
Will I still have problems when submitting a W2 and paystubs with a different name on it? My sponsoring employer said that the jobsite (the company on the W2) was attached to the initial petition as where I would be working. I am still working and doing exactly what was listed on my job description, but the problem is primarily the legality of the name on the W2.
Please help me with this one if at all possible. Thanks.
