I think the question should be how many AUG/SEPT/OCT(1999), and JAN-APRIL (2000) cases are out there. My guess is TOO MANY !!!

our RD/ND\'s are for 3/2000 and FP done on 12/00...STILL waiting (EB2 other)

Processing cases until June 2000. The word until is the key here.

It all indicates to me that VSC, like other centers, is processing cases before March 00, and after March 00 in paralle. Reasons:
1. Reduce the possibility of FP redo for fillings after March 00 as these cases had done the FP two months after the I-485 submission (FP generation process change point)
2. Reduce the pressure from congress. It makes them look like that they are processing I-485 within a reasonable time frame.
3. For the old cases, they are trying to make effort to finish them up so you (congress) can not say much about it.
I see this is a right move. Unfair to someone? "There is no fair". So don\'t complain! At least INS is trying to make progress.
