The site http://instrack.sce.net/ is back online again !!

I just tried it today and found it working. I request ALL to insert / update their respective info.

Since I am waiting and worried for my I-140 (RD=Sept 10, 2002 / AOS / EB2 / Not Concurrent ), my sincere request to all of you who recently got your I-140 Approvals (in last 2/3 months) to update your I-140 info in the site so that people like me would get some overall idea regarding the pace / pattern.

Thanks.

Let's stay with RUPNET

Most of us here are already familiar with RUPNET. I don't think it's a good idea to post our data on multiple web sites. It will only create redundancy, etc. - hard to maintain! Besides, Rupnet has an excellent query facility. See for yourself!

Let's stay with RUPNET.

Thanks for your kind words about my site.

You may be interested in knowing that I put it up when I was between jobs and waiting for my I-140 to be approved. After my daughter was born, it went into "autopilot mode" and has been there ever since. She is now almost 2 years old.

RUPNET has a number of features that I do not, and most importantly it has an active user base and maintainer. My site is there, but I fear that the quality of information is dropping as time passes.

I like to think that the features of user collaboration and sorting made it a precursor to some of the other sites out there and raised the bar from the old static HTML trackers, but I suspect its time has passed. If anyone is interested, I would be happy to export the databases into Excel format and post them here.

TheRealCanadian, don't take it personally.
I didn't mean to hurt your feeling. But you think yourself, does it make sense to have two different places for either same information or different.
Looks like you started doing pretty good job out there and i believe you would have made it much better also. Because you doing yourself and you can change it side by side based on user's comment either on this site or on other site.

But as of now we'll say, once you are fully confident and think that it's almost better than rupnet keep working. If you need some comment or what needs to be changed or any enhancement, ask others opinions.

And that's not a bad idea either at this time to export it to rupnet, if you don't feel it bad doing it.

I think you misunderstood. I'm actually pleased that someone is still looking at the site, for I wholeheartedly agree that time has passed it by. You cannot expect a site that was put together in 3 weeks and ignored for 2 years to still be active. (That, and it's a pain to keep it running on my overburdened server.)

I'll probably do an export tonight, and replace the site with a link forwarding people to RUPNET.

TheRealCanadian, i too

used to visit your site during my 140 process.

glad that you are such a sport.

THanks for your work (long overdue)

I too used that site!!!

But one day I lost all my bookmarks (with my job) and just couldn't remember the link...

TheRealCanadian, it helped me a lot during I-140 process. Didn't know it was 'your' site. Thanks a lot for it!!! However, for now, I'll stick with rupnet and this site.
