V-Visa waiting times

Hi,
I applied for my V-visa on June 30, 2003
got an RFE and sent the required documents on Sep 12,2003 .

I am still waiting for V-visa papers . I applied for a work permit along with the V-Visa .

Does anyone know how long it is taking for the approval ??

I can only advise regarding my experience. I contacted the London Embassy a month before (Oct 2003) my three years were up (Nov 2003), as I was aware that certain required documents eg police records may take a while. They sent me the necessary papers for completion immediately.

Everything was completed after my medical and interview at the embassy in December. In total it took about 6 weeks.
