This topic has been discussed here in variety of different ways but I want to make sure that I am not getting into trouble.
I finished my 3 yrs of J1 waiver commitment 6 weeks ago. I have approved I-140 from NIW with pending I-485 and also PERM based I-140. I have got a great offer from a local group of doctors to join them. They want me to set up a Professional Association and receive 1099 as other partners receive. I will be practicing in the same area of J1 waiver. I plan to use EAD to work (as hospitalist) / to setup PA (for independent contractor)
- Do you guys see any problem in this setup?
- I understand that I will have to file an amended I 140. Does anybody know the procedure to do it?
- Will I need a new support letter from department of Health?
Any other suggestions in general.
