US Citizenship requirement

Hi,
I am planning to apply for US citizenship soon. I saw in the documents required checklist that I need to produce my current valid and expired passport for travel certifications. My current passport has expired in Feb, 2020 and due to covid-19 restriction, my passport renewal application got stalled and eventually I had to cancel it. I have to restart my passport renewal application again. I am just wondering if I need a current valid passport for the application (in that case I will have to restart my passport renewal application) or all my previous passports (expired) one will do. Of course, after the passport has expired I didn't go abroad.
Your response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

PS I currently hold an Indian passport.

No, you don’t. Do take your passport to the interview though, mine was checked for the immigrant visa and subsequent entry stamps.
