Hi,
Just received IL for my wife today. It states to bring evidence of Selective Service registration along with GC, passport etc.
I thought women are not required to register with selective services. Also, both her and I were above 26years (at least by a few years) when we got our green-card, so did not register.
My questions:
1. Is it just a standard template everyone gets, or should my wife get request any doc from selective services ? If latter, what is the procedure for that ?
2. In case my IL states the same (yet to receive), should I also do follow the same advise as for 1 above ? Or for men, it would be a different case ?
3. Both of us were below 26years on our prior stays in US, but those stays were on non-resident Visas. Is it true that selective services registration does not apply on non-resident visas (B1/B2/H1/H4/L1/L2 etc) ?
