Urgent question regarding F-1 Visa..

Hey there,

I've had an interview today at the embassy for the F-1 visa. The interview went fine i guess and i wasn't put on administrative review and i wasn't given a "NO". I was told that they will call me in 7 days (10 days maximum) and then ill go back and give them my passport. Is this a good sign? Thank you..

Where was the interview? Which embassy? Which univ did you go for? What financial documents did you show? It depends on these things.....

US embassy in Lebanon. I was granted a reduced tuition and a graduate assistantship at the university I'm going to. The amount I have in the bank is almost 4 times the amount mentioned in the I-20 University costs. They didn't even mention anything about the money. Maybe they want to double check the info I've provided on the DS157-158? I hope it goes well.
