I am a Canadian Citizen who is married to an Indian (2 years) and currently residing in Bangalore via a 6 month visitor visa. For the past year we have tried without much success to get information on how to go about applying for a PIO card for me. Can anyone advise? Should I apply at the Indian Consulate when I return to Canada to renew my visa or can I apply here in India? If I can do so in India, please provide me with accurate details to do so because we have tried twice and both times the application along with the DD went missing. The bank is still trying to locate the last DD.
