Urgent--Any Body is Using 180 days Rule

I got laid off today from my company and I applied I-485 in March-2001 and I got EAD/AP and also I completed my FP. Please let me know any body is using 180 day rule, what is the procedure to use 180 day rule.

Don\'t panic. First thing look for a similar job. Contact a lawyer. Since the time taken by NSC to adjucate I485 is more than 180 days you might be lucky. You might have problems only if your case is adjucated

           1)How to explain new employer
           2)Just we can start work on EAD or do we have to apply H1-B

It does not matter whether you opt for option 1 or 2. Both are legal. Whatever your future employer is comfortable with. Hopefully INS does not ask for anything but if they ask for letter from employer then
you send the letter from new employer. you may need attorney to
do that stuff.
