Dear GreatCanadian,
I am currently on an H1B visa and have an approved I-140 based on a NIW for physicians to work in underserved area for 5 years.
Recently my LCA was approved from the Backlog center and I applied to adjust status I-485 based on the new labor cert EB2 in 2/07 at NSC.
But now, its stuck at NSC, no fingerprint appt. No RFE nothing...
I called USCIS, nobody knows anything...
So now I have two (2) adjustment of status applications pending...
Questions:
1. Should I withdraw the NIW based I-485? to allow the LCA based GC to go forward?... this is risky if the LCA based GC is rejected?
2. How do you withdraw a pending 485?
3. I originally had a J1 visa, but have done the 2yr. waiver, can this be the problem?

NIW EB2 2005 at TSC year 2/5 EAD never used
H1B year 5/6
LCA 2005 PD current for visa #
I485 2/07 NSC stuck for some reason, no biometrics...
EAD 4/07 never used
