I'm in the very same situation.

My labor was filed 365 days prior to expiration of 6 years. Before my H1 was to expire, my attorneys in consultation with my company HR filed for extension of H1 for the 7th year even though I did not have LC cleared and filed for I-140.

So, presently, I'm waiting for the adjudication on my H1 extension.
Any help you guys (laborache and TNSEA) can provide would be of tremendous help. Actually, may be even lifesaver.
