Travelling to USA after TN visa query(to bring credential evaluation from NACES accredited companies)

Hi

Appreciate all your service.
I went to border at niagara last week for TN status.
They asked me to get education evaluation from one of the member companies of NACES.

Now I want to travel to Chicago as a visitor since I am a Canadian citizen to get it done personally since they need my original degree doc's physical copy.

Would it be an issue at border ??

I do have option to mail my originals. But, thats the only copy I have I do not want to take a chance of loosing them by any chance.

Your advise is completely appreciated in this regard.

My experience was that they would only accept transcripts directly from the university, but if they accept your "originals" whatever that means, than I guess you can try. What makes the copy you have "original"?

The border might see it as fishy that you are going to deliver your transcripts by hand while you have a denied TN. You can get all this done in Canada.
